| KK Zero4.0
I want to start off by saying THANKS to Kamikaze for all the new gear. I received my Zero 4.0 when I got home from work yesterday evening and got to work. My hope is to finish and test before Nats. It did not take to long to get it to roller status. Very user friendly. Last edited by raul duke; 09-04-2008 at 11:16 PM. |

| Thanks guys, so far a great truck. I thought the title sounded funny when I said it to myself. No job in the comedy department for me. More pics on the way.

Coming along nicely now. Set up some new electrics and tried to use all the mounting slots I could. Great design on the electric plates really gives you some options and works better than my lexan ones. Had a chance to run about a half pack through her and I am really happy on how it handles. Just need to go back and loc-tite everything so's I don't have no dangly bits. Looks like it will be an on the road test. I will try and update from there. Thanks for lookin and see some of you guys in Moab. |

Well I had the best testing ground of all to see what this rig could do and I was not dissapointed. I got my first real session of driving the 4.0 on the friday practice crawl at Nationals. It did not take long to realize that this set up works great in all kinds of situations, the zero ate up all but one gate on the practice courses with ease. The big test came the next day. I was able to get through every obsticle on every course my only downfall came from timing out on the finish gate of course #3 giving me a 30 instead of a 0. I am more than happy with the way this rig performed over the weekend and taking 19th in the Nationals only 3 days after I built it is a testament to the rigs effectiveness (and my driving skills). I did not have a chance to install the steering link so I will have to get busy this week to try and get it in before my next SDRCRC comp this weekend. My JConcepts stage killah was waiting on more doorstep as well so I still have some work. |

Finished with the new JConcepts shell and decided to treat myself to a new radio. "Watch your eyes" was said more than once at nationals. So I ditched the ol eye pokin M8 and got a DX3R, all I can say is "wow" the feel and control is great, plus half the weight. |

It was nice meeting you at nats. Nice driving too, that rig looks good with the killah body and matching rings. That chassis setup performs pretty well it seems.

What zero chassis are you running 3.5 or 4? Sweet setup by the way.
