Default Homers Berg D'oh!!

Here's a quick and dirty description of my rig:

Custom:
Carbon Fiber Chassis
Anodized Aluminum Links, lowers are bent 30 degrees
Electronics plate that is reversible, can be mounted for more clearance in the belly or less by flipping it over
Steering, simple for now, going to fab an OTA or BTA setup when I get a chance
Lockouts, again, simple quick fix for now as I ran out of time before my comp with this truck

Electronics: Tekin FXR
Tekin 55t's 13t front 12t rear
Micro switch dig
Common sense 3S 1000mAh Lipo
5955tg steering servo
Mighty mini dig servo
Spektrum Dx3r RX & TX
CCBEC

Rims: Vanquish Revolver Pro Comps, 6 lugs fron, 3 rear
Tars: Cougars w/ hybrid reach mem foams
Shocks: Losi with 30 wt. oil for now, may change the oil

Glad to see this thing finally up and running. You should have mentioned your 5th place finish in the comp with it without even having any testing time to get use to it before the comp.

I appreciate all the compliments fellas!! So far this thing is driving like a dream, only problem I've found so far is that I keep breaking rod ends, so I'm upgrading to alum 4-40 rod ends. Well, the other problem is that I need more practice with it, but I have a feeling it's gonna be a contender when I get this guy all figured out driving wise; I'm still used to driving my ax-10 edge with a cobalt 7t in it... Two COMPLETELY different vehicles..

Are you using Axial rod ends?

I was having the same issue, so I switched to Traxxas Jato rod ends and no more issues.

I actually have broken both the axial and Revo ends.. Two of which were on course 1 and 2 of the last comp.. I didn't have any revo's in my toolbox that day, so I threw on an axial. One I snapped in half, the other I pulled the threads out of, and honestly I don't remember which was what. I can't be having any of that though, so I'm making it bullet proof now!! Yeah, it might add a decent amount of weight for 20 alum rod ends, but that can't be more than removing 2 slugs per rim would weigh, or even 1 slug..
