Default build thread (update)

just wanted to share my berg i have had it for about a month and just got my wheels yesterday after 40 days of waiting (well worth the wait) so its just about done other than a real radio system and the ota bta steering so here are the specs so far


berg axles
vf slingshot se
mayhem 7's
panther tire
integy 45t
axial stubs
traxxas gtr shocks
cc mamba max
cc bec
micro switch dig
clocked axles
and unfortunately traxxas tq3/rx

Looks really good

With the number of grappler bodies being put on bergs one could be forgiven for thinking that these are in fact stock berg bodies even though there is no such thing...

I bought three from the US because after seeing so many bergs with grapplers I think a berg just doesn't look like a berg unless it has a grappler

I agree. That's why I bought one off a local guy for my Berg buildup

looks really good, i thought the grapler came stock! oh well, my build is gonna be starting soon also. just collecting parts

thanks everyone i have a lot of fun with it and able to pull a lot of different lines that my friend can't and i couldn't before so i love it its awesome. i think the grappler is just easy to come by, really functional and doesn't look half bad

Default build thread (update)

Well its been awhile since i built the berg up and as you could imagine some thing have changed... ok everything has change a few times. The only thing that is original is the berg axles, and even parts to those have been swapped out.
The upgrades:
VP SLW's
Punk dig switch
HH 45's
FXR
OTA/BTA steering
Also I found amoungst my old rc chit i found a set of old losi 4 inch shocks and rebuilt them with new seals and ti nitride shock shafts from the now "crawler shocks", work like a charm.
So here's some pics of its current form. Comments welcome








Just a few minor changes.

Wow more changes. I really thought your rigs was dialed in but I guess I was wrong (like always)LOL. How are you liking the new wheels.
