Default Berg NEW Bent arms

Well did it, I jumped into another hobby, and I just got my Berg today from A Main Hobbies. After reviewing allot of post, and seeing that the factory chassis comes with straight control linkages, I realized my Berg cam with bent control links. At first I thought they packaged things wrong but no, 4 main bent links, and 4 short bent links. Is this new?????

Bent upper links is kinda odd.

The rod ends are also a bit different than the older models (my reference is OCM). Did the balls come pre-installed in the rod ends? Do they feel "tight" in the rod ends?

edit: Kami beat me by a minute on the last question.

double edit: To look at this in a larger scale, does this mean that people at Enroute are paying attention? Are reviews/opinions made here at RCC making their way to production at Enroute? If they are responding to the wants and needs of the actual consumer, and redesigning based upon these wants, this could lead to many great things!

Bent upper links could allow for the motor to be clocked further without hitting the upper links.

Yes the balls were in. They appear to be press fit and not re-buildable (meaning you can’t remove them)

I did notice some small parts "orings" were missing from the kit, and many new parts that are not on the parts list "ie screws and things". They only included 8 oringes for the top shock mounts.

With captured ball rod ends, that eliminates the need for 32 o-rings on the links that the older kits came with. Maybe the instruction/parts manual hasn't been updated to reflect this.

Good for Enroute on the ends!!

that sweet nice to see that enroute has taken the initiative to improve the product not that it needed much maybe they'll take some initiative to clock there axles as well or re-release some clocked axle tubes that would be sweet

Wow.. Looks like they are paying a visit here. Maybe they will make a mounting spot/or opitional mount for Stick Chassis's. (Heims).....wink....wink and Maybe just maybe they will make the tubes easier to rotate your have them rotated from the factory.

Default crap!!!

i myself had bought one about 1 month ago and it came with all the same bent links and new pivots, your better off not even puting it together with that crap.i put mine together with all the same stuff but added a tcs chassis for kicks, lasted about 2 good crawl outings and then all the ball ends started to come apart because they are only pressed together, the upper links are to short causes chassis to lift under uproach torque. best thing i can offer as advice is to get ahold of kamakazi him self and order links asap ,as for the upper links i used the revo red rods and they work great.also have went to all of kamakazis products since then
once again this is only my opion on the new and approved stuff
