Default Bergalicous K9's Carbon Fi-BERG

When I Heard Danny of DL Customs was making a Berg offset wheel and there would only be 5 sets made I had to pick em up sight unseen, even though I didnt own a Berg...

Then DL asked if I would like another chassis similar to my Axial crawler and of course I couldnt pass it up...DL along with the help of ROAR were the creators of the original G.O.A.T. chassis, (one of the first if not the first to run touring car shocks) and an opportunity to own such a fine chassis does not come along very often...

A couple weeks later DL sent me a pic of the wheels and chassis, WOW!!!The wheels are amazing and the chassis is nothing short of incredible...The chassis is made out of carbon fiber and is only 38mm wide with a custom delrin cut skid so the carbon never hits the rocks...Multiple upper link and shock mounts makes this chassis very versatile...

I know it sounds like a sales pitch but im sorry, only 2 were made...And I really dig everything that comes out of DL Customs...

Parts list:
DL Customs-Carbon Fi-BERG Chassis
DL Customs-Berg offset Wheels
PANTHER COUGAR TIRES AND FOAMS
Berg axles (Thanks Carver)
JP customs rear lockouts
Desolas HW 45T motors
TEKIN FX-R
Castle BEC at 6.5v
Spektrum micro reciever
Hitec 5995tg servo
Hitec 55mg dig servo
4'' Losi crawler shocks
Thunder Power 3s Lipo
Axial high clearance links rear
Axial links front
Axial stub shafts

R2J-Length is 7 7/8

Harley-12 7/16''

I got it wired up and running...I love a clean rig and tried my best to keep the "rats nest" of wires hidden...I stll need to figure out what im going to do with the steering...You can also see the dig mount DL made out of delrin to keep it clean

Well the Fi Berg is done (for now)...

I wrapped the sick DL wheels with a fresh set of Panthers Cougar tire with Panther foams...

The steering knuckles were were cut back redrilled and tapped (thanks Zach) to avoid tire issues...

I opted to replaced the Axial front links with red Revo push rods with beefier 4mm hardware...

I fawked up the paint so dont ask...I was trying to get a red anodized marble look so I sprayed candy red then backed it with chrome then black...

Here is a shot of how narrow this chassis really is...

Comparison in width with my Axial rig

FLEX!!!

And a shot with my DL CUSTOMS Axial rig

Im taking it out to Lil Moab this weekend for it maiden voyage...I've driven it a little on the few rocks that I have and I love the Berg...
