| Another newbie question.
OK, posting here because a berg has 2 axle mounted motors. Has anyone thought about using an emaxx esc and going with a higher voltage lipo? The wiring would be cleaner and it would be waterproof, but are there any other advantages if any? Or is it a bad idea and if so, why? |

A couple of big disadvantages. Non-programmable as far as setting it up for true crawler needs (can't set a zero delay forward to reverse, can't increase drag brake), and it runs dual batteries which adds unnecessary weight usually higher up. You can rewire the esc to get around this, but why bother?
