Linc has been around and reprogrammed the radio. Front and rear digs (and a few Team secrets ) Only issue I have so far is that I jumped the gun buying the 3S Lipos. The ones I bought (2450mah) are slightly too big for the battery spot in the chassis. So I will have to sell these and buy a couple more. Still waiting on Rover tyres. The Losis will do until they arrive. I have to say, from running it around setting it up, it seems like it will be tough to top. Here are some pics. More to follow once I hit the rocks. |

Body is mounted and trimmed. May require some more trimming when the Rovers arrive. She is ready to hit the rocks. I have run it around the house to set it all up. Seems like everything works as it should. I will get out this week after work if I can and test it all out. If not, then this weekends comp will be it's shakeout run ! On to the pics (the last pics of it looking this pretty ) |

Front and rear dig and front and rear steer with a 12.5" wheelbase has got to be entertaining.

I went to my first comp with the new rig and I had constant difficulties with the car. It would stall out and stop running. Still managed 4th :-) But it turns out the 24kg servos were too much for the BEC in the FXRs (even though I'm running dual speedies). So, after a quick search around, I located an 8 Amp BEC. Big props to Wattsuprc, as I ordered it at 6pm and had it at 10am the next morning (Brisbane to Sydney). I read reviews for installing the BEC. It was all Chinese to me ! So Jonesy came over and installed it for me after a quick call to confirm connection of the BEC into the receiver. Also managed to squeeze the 2450mah 3S lipo into the chassis. So I have 3 cell grunt (great wheel speed even with the 55T Venom motors) and decent runtime. The end result is that my car now does what it should do. I look forward to the next comp with my fully operational Berg !! |

Thanks man, I'm hoping to get a set of those. The Dirty Harry's are a little to wide for me. 10.5 is to much. Later Farmer |
