| Wiring Diagram from the motors to the ESC
I am fairly new at this and was looking into a Berg. I was wondering how you wire both motors into the ESC? Is it basically splicing the wires from the ESC to the motors, or is there a special connector or a special way of wiring them up? Thanks for the information. |

Yes you can do it that way but you miss out on the best dig set-up ever! This is one of the most common ways to set up dig on Berg axles:My Dig Switch Box! by Uroplatus I use 2 ESC's though. |

I never thought of that way. Interesting. So far I like this. I've done a little bit of dig-type experimenting and I'm fascinated with what seems possible (this is my first MOA build) I made the rig almost spin on it's axis on carpet, by running the front motor forward and the rear motor in reverse and steering accordingly. A big part of my problem is the sticks on my radio. The left stick has a ratchet mechanism in it, so it does'nt return to center on it's own like the right stick does (it's set up for helicopter throttle or something) I need to see if my LHS can change it for me or if I need to send it to Futaba. If both sticks were spring loaded I could just let go of them and "dead-stick" it when I need to stop. The rest is just the learning curve. I figure if I can safely and effectively operate machines like skid-loaders and backhoes (especially a Case) I can get used to this twin stick arrangement... |
