Thanks to JB for all the help! And Krawlfreak for the new Chassis.
Your welcome Eddie!
Now you just need some wheel time when you get that replacement 4PK, a little tweeking of the shocks, you should be good to go!
Then we can build you a Super, should only take 2 years right?!!

So, after a bit of a struggle, Randy and I got the radio programmed.....thanks a ton to Hurley for his setup guide and video.....and Apple for the Iphone 4! Got us going and such......

Then on my first course, I get down the hill and approaching the first gate, got lots of coaches......front dig! tap it tap it.....SNAP! Broke a pin in the front axle......had to wait for JB to finish up judging to swap it out for one of his spares.

I didn't manage to finish any courses, but I was close on a couple. My rear throttle seemed to be overpowering the front.....and we didn't know how to turn it down with the mix..........of course, after I get home and watch the video again, I realized we should of kept watching, as Hurley shows you how to adjust it on the fly! DOH!

I think the prototype 40t motors I ran simply were too much HP for me....other guys seemed to like how much HP they had!

All in all, I had lots of fun......gonna do some upgrades and redo a few things on the truck before the next comp.....got a month, so plenty of time.....but gonna try to get it done sooner than later.

You did great yesterday! Heck you did better then most for there first comp, especially for having basically no run time on the rig.

The radio setup wasnt as hard as i thought it would be with Harleys thread. very informative! Glad we got it figured out.

Yeah, no wheel time surely made it interesting......especially since I just wanna gun it every time......having never driven an MOA, it was surely a lot different than the shafty trucks I have.....I just wish I listened to the rest of the video! We had throttle, so I turned it off!

I think with the radio and esc adjusted, the motors will be fine........they were.

I guess everyone was really impressed with how crazy clean my wiring was.....I can't stand messy wiring....funny thing was, I think it was still messy!

Upgrades I would like to do....

Rewire it again, I think I can make it cleaner
Better electronics tray. I tried one that was bacsically wedged in place and then the wires pretty much held it there....never had any issues, but it was moving too much for my liking.
300m axles.......but they are sold out everywhere.
High steer Knuckles....little more steering would of been nice
RS Pro ESCs.....I know this sounds like crazyness....but they clearly are a better speedo all around....
Practice.....I heard this makes perfect?

I can without a doubt say the BjV4 performed well beyond my skill level. JB got the chassis setup as per Jeremy's reccomendations. I wish I had more time on it, but I know there was a lot of stuff, my losi would of died trying.....I had multiple comments that my chassis was pulling off stuff that other trucks would of not been able to do....

I know you got a couple orders coming from the NW.....

Truck looks good Eddie. A lil wheel time and you will be on top of your game.

Great looking rig Eddie! I think Jeremy nailed it with this chassis design, it is one of the best looking bodiless chassis I have seen. This coming from a competitors driver

Do you plan on getting some action shots of it?

We crawl by the water all the time, jeddy's and such are about the only rocks south Florida has to offer. it used to freak me a bit, now I just am cautious to not dump the rig, or myself.

It amazes me how infrequently people get hurt in this hobby, goes to show that most of us try and be safe.
