Default Berg Skeeter Build (NOW with Moonbuggy)

Started on a new berg build after seeing what they are capable of.
Had to give it a shot.

Fubar Skeeter Chassis
Fubar lockouts
Kamikaze lowers and rear tray
Custom front tray/servo mount
Delrin uppers and tie rod
Integy 45turn motors 12t pinions
Mamba max
Futaba 9157
Dig switch box
HB Rovers on Mayhem double phatties

Still got a bit of work to do, but should have the rest of my stuff in this week and can get it finished up.

Most is just the basics, Dig switch box fits in the chassis perfect and should clean up all the wiring. BEC is inside as well.
Rear axle will have the Mamba and receiver
Front axle servo and battery.

Front axle mount very tight fit. Worked out well I think though.

Looks great. I think that's the first servo/batt mount I've seen on a berg. Definately interested in finding out how that works out for you. What battery are you going to run?

couple more

This is where it sits for right now.

Slash springs are temporary. Have ckrc springs to try out. I am going for a pretty high belly height. ~over 3" somewhere. See how it is and drop if need be.
That is the one thing that hampers me with my TLT.

See how things are when I get my links on. front axle clocked 20* rear will get clocked with the links.
3/8"delrin rod and revo ends.

Yeah that looks good.

My belly clearance with panthers is just a hair under 3.5". Some think that's too high but my rig sidehills and climbs just as good as their "low riders".

You mentioned the Slash springs, are those also Slash shocks?

Nice looking rig,

Yes made the tie rod. Can crank out another for you and James if you want.

I do not have the rims to test the clearance of the front plate. Did not even think it would be an issue.
I will put my TLT's on they are eight shooters with the Rovers. Should be close.

Shocks are standard traxxas big bores with the rod end mod. does make them pretty long. Will limit the shaft if need be.

Looks good mike. I guess I need to save up for a berg so that I can be competitive in the MD series.:-( Of course I have to make it out to one first. Keep it up.
