| Shane's DmG DcR Berg Build
Got this from Jerry at the DmG. I won the his giveaway just before chirstmas! Top notch work and chassis. This started out with Axial axles. Saw the berg axles and had to swap them out. Best thing about this rig is the removable top aluminum piece. Take off to work on, or put posts on to run a body (last picture with top off is from axial build up). Axial build up over on the axial section. Got the axles from CKRC. 12" wheelbase, revo push rods on bottom, 8/32" thread on top links. Chisels with HPI grabber stock foams, this tire/foam setup works great KK rear plate and front steering link CKRC Rear lockouts (Not too impressed with these. had to put 3 holes in each to get them to stay straight, might have been my fabbing though), Electronics: Nomadio React, Tekin FX-R, 11.v lip0,CC BEC, Hitec 7955TG, HH manly dig switches on HS-55, Integy 35t's with 12tooth pinions. Shocks: Was running the Losi .9's all around but it didn't have enough flex. It would flip too easy. Then went with big bores all round, too much front end travel on uphills. Now it's Losi .9's up front with traxxas big bores out back. Losi white .9's springs all around with no shock cups to keep the cg down. Still needs some testing. The big bores would probably work all around with some inside limiters. I have run two competitions with this rig and like it alot. Just need to dial in the shocks more. I've had limited testing time because of my job and weather. Ok, pictures below. Last edited by Szczerba; 03-12-2009 at 08:38 AM. |

| They are the Newage front bumper mounts. Every online store was sold of the normal servo mount brackets when I built this up. I have some on back order with CKRC. I have to build with what I can. I am about 3 hours from the closest R/C shop.
