| Rockshow - Welcome back my friend to the show that never ends come along and bring a friend step inside step inside Come inside the show's about to start Garaunteed to blow your head apart Come and see the show -ELP- Since everyone wants a sponsor and common folk never get one, I'm going to reverse things and sponsor the vendors that helped me build this beast (in order of product quality and customer service) T1E (Twenty One Eleven) - Quickly answered my questions, made me feel important, and shipped super quick. Quality of the Rockshow is outstanding! Decals are top notch!! Fubar - Great lockouts. Easy install. Quick delivery! The decal was jacked up :-( and wouldn't come off the trasfer paper. Cool logo though!! Kamikaze Kustoms - Made some medium bend links for me . Quality is top notch. Great hi-clearance steering arm! I ordered 2 hi-clearance links and 2 med-clearance though and I got sent all med-clearance. It worked out though... just had to make a clearance notch for the motor. No decals :-( That's OK Jeff you make some killer stuff! The Scale Shop - Anti Bling Beadlocks. Good sale... good looking product. Shipping tomorrow. More on these when they arrive Other fine products Tekin FXR HB Rover Softs (Panther soft foams) G-Made Zero Shocks On to the show.... the Rockshow Not boring you with the build. Everyone has seen what the inside of these axles look like The steering is incomplete. Mocked up with an Axial servo and the stock rods. My wheels aren't here yet so stock axials are on for posing (11.5" wide) And I'll post more as more of my parts arrive. Non poser pics and video to come Big thanks to everyone who answered my many questions too... especially Joe Bruiser, Rockcrawler, and Sddill |

Very Cool... the ELP intro reminded me of that episode of "That 70's Show" for some reason... but a great start. What did you use for your side panels... are they black? they look chrome almost... pretty shiney!! Great build! Can't wait to see more, and see how this performs!!! |

Looking good bro I need to do a thread on mine someday I guess Have you ran it any yet ?? Just wondering if you are getting more than usual rear stall with it wired that way ?? I like the idea of the solid rod for jumpers on your switches but I think that you will have more resistance than a high strand wire would...Not saying it won't work just courios is all...It going to be ready by sunday..I can see a Rockshow showdown coming X2 on this Silas is top notch with customer service T1E (Twenty One Eleven) - Quickly answered my questions, made me feel important, and shipped super quick. Quality of the Rockshow is outstanding! Decals are top notch!! Now we just need to get you a sticker made that says "DRIVER NEEDED" |

Whatever Panther standard soft whites are. I cut them narrower and then trenched the middle out and filled the trench with some soft foam. | |

You on/off switch will never last there. Move in inboard or when you'r on your lid you'll tear it off. Nice build |

So here is the steering I have for now. It gives me full throw in both directions... but it isn't ideal. I need to figure out how to get the servo horn pointed down. I redrilled and cut down the knuckles until I replace them with Axial units. I think I shortened them too much because the steering link hits the axle at full swing. I actually had to mount my linkage on the back of the horn to get a straight pull. How do you guys get the horn pointed down? Do you raise the servo mount? The RTR servo junk is just in place for mockup and the washer is because the horn is cracked... I also made a battery plate for the rear axle... but for some reason... just like on the AX-10... it makes my truck glitch . So for now I'll be running the battery in the belly on the skid. |
