Default Minor rock racer possible?

How fast is the average Berg setup?

Thinking of getting one but wonder if it could also do some rock racing without having to change motor/gear. Wouldn't need to be crazy quick, just 10mph or so.

I remember seeing Holmes having a berg with 7t cobalt pullers. Nice slow speed or wicked fast with that set up.

The axles are onl geared around 40:1 so they are faster than most axials with the same electronics. Big tires help as well.

Like all have said. Definetly the fastest crawler I have had that still has plenty of torque and slow sped control.
At full speed it is faster than I can steer controllably on the rocks.

What about say running around the back yard in the grass, too slow to be any fun doing that?

Well I'd like to do it 15% of the time, the other 85% I'd be rock crawling.

Just buy a Slash or Stampede and leave the Berg 100% crawler.

Dual purpose means it sucks at both.

Don't tell the Summit owners that.

I run 27 turns in mine, it doubles well as comp crawler and rock racer.
