I just need to install the CDW Steering kit. Whats on there was a Crappy mock up. I wasn't happy with. I also scarpped my 2.2 Clod. So it's getting the 5995TG from it.

just going to mount the two Switches to the Servo and mount it below the Rear Chassis Brace. The 1500 3 cell Lipo will be moved forward on the skid.

The HaVoc is very stable... Got any pic's or a thread started on yours yet?

Looks great. One question.

Any particular reason you run your belly height so high ? Just curious.

Damn this was built quick J Must be a really easy chassis to build off of...

I always thought the rear was the "Torque end" but after seeing all these badass HAVOKS being built its just the opposite...Any reason to this or is it reversible to the builders liking to increase the flexibility of the chassis???

3-1/4in Bell Clearance... It's still going to be very Stable... Also around here we have tons of sharp drop offs. Which get you hung up if your a Belly Dragger.

Thanks, man... Everything bolts up smooth and easy. It Could be Reversible, but it was designed to have the Torsion in the Front....

It has more to do with traction. With the torsion end in the front the rear is forced to react to what the front is doing when following. This actually increases the downforce on either of the front wheels. If you reversed it you would be dragging 80% of the bulk of the rig around the course with only the springs pushing down. It also works with your AntiSquat since there are no springs in the front to compress the pressure is applied more directly to the tires in a vertical climb.

Note how on this climb you can see how compressed my right front tire is. This was a very steep climb but as the antisquat started to push the front it didnt squat the whole rig down just added to the traction on the front end. Or maybe im totally wrong and just really lucky

So are there going to be any of these at ECC-09? I would like to see one up close.

Why do you have the rear axle reversed with the motor hanging out the back? Most do not do that now days!!

With the Prototype HaVoc the Chassis was in the way on the Bully's. You had to have the Rear axle Flipped. With the New Production HaVoc you don't have to. You have the Choice. If you have bigger tires having the rear axle Flipped as some advantages.

Got some work done today..

Replaced the Rear Links with Delrin Dogman Links. They woundn't clear the front motor.

Installed the front steering Kit. Kind of a Pain, but not CDW's. Just the Berg Design really. Have to tear into the gear case just to remove the upper link mount. Using HR Ax-10 Knuckles. I'm ordering a set of High Steer Knuckles to replace those. Not a big fan of spacing the Steering link that high of the Knuckles.

Since the HaVoc's front Torsion Links are mounted just about stright up and down. I was having some clearance issues with the Steering kit. From the Servo being moved higher off the axle.

Mocked up this link with a Curve in it. Just does clear the Servo. I'll remake one with revo Ends later.
