| Whats the weakest part on your Berg
What is the weakest part on your Berg. What have you replaced the most? For me its the Berg stubs. The Axial hold up better, but I have broke them also. I have yet to break anything else. (Probably shouldn't have said that.) Last edited by The Violator; 06-19-2009 at 04:11 PM. |

Inner axles. I have broken a few of them since I have had mine. But thats the only thing I have broken. This is if you have already replaced the outter shafts with Axials. |

Quite a few dogbone pins but I was running the CKRC knuckles which are far apart from the c's. I have not broken one since I have been running the Vanquish. So now the weakest part of my Berg is the driver. Last edited by dpdsurf; 06-19-2009 at 04:36 PM. |

i have broken 2 inner axle pins, a couple gears and stubs(stubs usually from a hefty toss, or as i like to think of it extreme testing) but i can't say that the poor things have been put to the test and most of the time survive.

I have been running Axial stubs since day one so I never broke any berg stubs. I have broke 5 longs axles though and two short side axles.

Gears, because of bearings. I have not had the shaft breaking problem like everyone else, maybe because mine are early units? My first set I broke a few but that was under ridiculous unnecessary strength testing, hey I wanted to know what they were made of!! |

I put in the axial stubs before the first run and the only thing I have broke is the 12 tooth third gear in my front axle.

haven't managed to break anything (yet) I did have a crosspin slot on a plastic hex chew out, and the wheel nut tighten the wheel and hex so hard against the lockout it stalled out the rear motor and burnt it up. |

once the stock stubs are replaced with axial ones (as they should be) the inner dog bone pin is the weak link on mine.

So far my weakest point has been stub shafts. axial ones help that a bunch tho.

So, it seems that the 2 weakest links are the outer stubs that can be helped by the way of the axial stubs, and the axle shafts at the pins. Can most of that be eliminated by limiting the steering. I have yet to break a pin, but I have my steering way limited. The pin never leaves the stub. But it takes dig to make most turns.
