What knuckles is everybody using on the front, VP or CKRC? Either one have an advantage? Are there other options, possibly better ones, out there? Thanks |

Vanquish all the way. They are very strong, and as a company they stand behind their stuff 100%.

I personally have use both VP and CKRC knuckles both are great. VP knuckles are very nice. The CKRC knuckles have a short steering arm which causes the servo throw to be less for full lock to full lock steering which I like.

I have both and they're both high quality parts. The CRC knuckles don't clear the Mayhem Eng. wheels I have (by a very small amount) so I'm running the VPs. One set of the VPs I got has more clearance on the bearings than I would like and both the VP & CRC knuckles have more bearing clearance than any of the stock knuckles that I've taken apart. The VPs are beautifully machined and finished, just a step above the CRC in the looks dept. I don't know if it's common but I had to clearance the knuckles because they were rubbing the ends of the Berg axle Cs. I chose to clearance the knuckles but you could do the axles Cs to achieve the same thing. Very minor.... Seeing as how they're Axial parts they have more "float" or clearance on the steering axis than the stock parts and I used the Axial "Flange Pipe" bushings Pn AX30450 until I machined up some of my own that reduced the clearance everywhere for a little less slop in the steering.
