Default Dig Switch for the Berg - Small

Just a FYI to you all. We just released the PunkRC Dig Switch for the Berg. I wanted to comment on a earlier thread about the current dig switch unit that was HUGE, but I had to secure my P. Patent protection.

Here is the thread with pictures and video: PunkRC Dig Switch

Technical Specs:
Size: 1.5"W x 1.0"L x ±1.0"H
Power Source: Radio RX
Power Draw: <150mA (similar to standard servo)
RX Voltage: 4.8V - 6.5V Receivers
Motor Capacity: Any
Switch Rating: 12Amps @ 35V (each motor)
Water Resistant Electronics plus Water Proofing Seal

Sorry for the two similar threads. Please direct comments to the other thread unless you have Berg related questions....

So does it just take the power from the motor, or does it actually dig????

Punk, please keep pricing on your site or in the vendor section. The tech sections are for tech.

It will be shorting out the motor when it disconnects it from the ESC. So it will lock up pretty good. (It was only disconnect before) The unit is now 1.8"x1.0" to accommodate negative the connectors.

And yes, you only need one for both motors!

I also just added some relay arc suppressors that will help the contacts not arc when disconnecting.

To my understanding the Novak Dig unit you have to run 2 esc's

With PunkRC Dig Unit you only have to run one ESC

Can't wait to get my PunkRC Dig Unit in my berg. As soon as i receive it, I will be doing a review of the Unit along with some video of the unit in action.
