Pretty sure they are regular 12mm hex... stock hex's I'm unsure if they lock on. If not you could easily use an AX10 hex.

yes 12mm no they do not lock on w/ set screw like axial one's do.
but when you change your axle stubs replace stock hex's w/ axial

If you do run the axial stub shafts, do you have to run the Axial hex's?

Not at all. Been running Axial stubs and stock berg hexs for a long time now.

I like the stock Berg hexes, mine don't fall off, fit to the pin pretty good for 8 months or so now still. I even need to use a screw driver to release them when I'm going to work on things.

Awesome. Becuase mayhem rims have a flat internal hex, and the axials have that lip, and I hate filing down the axial hex's to work on my nice rims!

The Berg hex's have the same lip.

They seem aluminum to me... I replaced them with the Axial ones that have the set screw. I took my grinder and made them flat.

I have seen flat hex's that clamp on with a screw before, I've been meaning to get some myself.

I thought Mayhem machined in the Berg wheels to fit the axial/berg hex. At least I thought my buddies ran normal hexes with their Mayhems.

I know my DNA's are machined.
