On the note of bearings, are the stock bearings suppose to be metal shielded? The ones that came in mine have rubber shields except the outer knuckles which have a fiber type shield?

I think they include whatever they have available. The ones in my knuckles are metal shielded while the rest have rubber shields of various colors (purple, blue and one black one).

Mine are rubber shield. Does it really matter if I use metal or rubber shields?

metal sheilds are faster but don't protect from dirts aswell
rubber are better on the protection but are slower due to resistance from the rubber seal
go with ceramic rubber sealed

I was just trying to figure out what type was stock after reading about the stock ones failing so often.

Ceramic bearings are known to be terrible with loads on them...possibly even worse than the cheapest bearing. They are meant for rotating quickly, but any side load force (hitting a rock hard with a wheel) will cause them to be ruined quickly.

Ceramics are fine for on-road racing and thats about it.
