Default The SVP - Single Vertical Plate - Chassis

Many many thanks to Jeff at Kamikaze Kustoms for making this a reality . I've been working on the design for a while and this past weekend Jeff cut it out for me.

Vehicle Specs:
Custom SVP chassis
Berg axles
MaxAmps 1550mah Lipo
Dual Tekin FX-R's
Integy 35 turn motors
Nomadio React radio system
JR 8711 steering servo
Kamikaze Kustoms steering link
4 inch shocks with Losi white springs
DNA Assassin beadlocks
HB Rover tires

The SVP chassis is made up of 4 parts, .28" thick. The vertical plate is what the lower links and the other pieces bolt to. The upper links mount to a long skinny piece that mates with the vertical plate. The shocks mount to the last 2 pieces, which attach to the ends of the vertical plate. These allow the proper spacing for the shocks. The fit of the pieces was so tight that I probably didn't need to bolt it together.

One of the main goals was to make the smallest skid possible and it is just about as small as it can get.

Pictures explain it better, so here ya go.

This is a rough 3D view of one of the rough drafts.

And this is the final 2D version.

Got to have the flex shot

The MaxAmps 1550mah Lipo clears throughout the range of flex.
