Yep, I had the same problem trying to get some lockouts...In the mean time I found a post on here from a guy who modified the stock lockouts to get them out of the way of the tires. I can't find his original post so I took a photo of my own handiwork. You need a 3mm drill and tap set and a couple of files. You don't need any parts. You just change the angle of the existing lockout by drilling a new hole closer to the axle and then you have to file a notch on the bottom of the lockout to clear the raised axle carrier mounts...

Hold the axle carrier straight and position the inside of the lockout so that it is touching radius of the axle carrier. use a pen or some sort of marker to locate the place on the arm where you are going to drill and tap the new hole....That's about all there is to it...Works on stock Berg wheels as well as Mayhems. You would need to file a flat on the place where the screw goes into the arm to lower the outboard screw a bit for Vanquish Revolver wheels...Naturally, when you get it all to your satisfaction, cut the steering arm off short. A lot of work to save $24 but at the time there was no alternative other than CKRC's solid axle modification lockouts which required as much or more fabrication and cost $45 and leaves you with only one source for axles...

Cool Can't wait for a set of these. Any chance of still getting on the preorder list or is that done with?
