I wanted to send a big Thank You to Charlie (Carver) for helping me put this rig together. Also a big thanks to Billygoat, Wrightc77 and Carver for the parts. I am waiting on some parts from Crawler1 before I take it out on some rocks. I will update this thread with pics once I get a chance to test it out. One thing I can say is the dig is awesome as well as the turning radius.

Also sorry about the mess on my workbench/ pool table

Good luck with the Berg. They are fun. Your rig looks pretty darn capable.

Thanks Guys for the comments. I have one question for anyone who might be able to answer it. Is 10 3/4" too wide or does it come more down to personal preference?

Lookin good brotha. I got a 4.0 coming to. Keep, posting pics. I'd appreciate it.
Now, everybody has there own way of doing thing's but I got some Mayhem double fatty's and I feel it was money well spent. From outside ring to ring it measures 9 1/2 to 9 3/4, that helps keep my axles off the rocks and is easier to get through the gates but sidehilling is a little tricky.

Nice Tre, Build looks good, can't wait to compete with you next series. We'll have to GTG to get some wheel time before the next Comp.

Definitely we will have to get some wheel time. I am waiting on some additional parts but they should be here this week so it will be time to do some crawling this weekend.

Thanks. I have to order a set of mayhem 7's. I was looking at the info Mayhem sent me and with the Mayhem 7's it would put my rig at 10.25" and right now it is at 10.75" so was not sure how much the .50" would make a difference. Going to have to order a new set of wheels.

Thanks Ray. I might try the 1" CDP's for one comp before I order wheels. I just bought them 1.5 months ago. I think 10.75" might be fine.

What would be the cons of running a wider rig?

So I recieved some goodies today " Berg Skidz from Crawler1". I also made some axle covers just until I can get them from "Downtown Delrin Works" . I will post some pics tomorrow.

Now just have to wait to order my Mayhem 7's and my Jpcustom lockouts.

Figured I would update this thread with some new things that I did to the Berg. I have been waiting to get some axles sliders so in the mean time I made my own. They are not made of the same material as others have used. I am not trying to steal anyones idea. I just needed something so I made it myself. Not something I am going to sell. Also installed the crawler1 teflon sliders. Thanks Crawler1 for a great product.
So here are some pics

I really like it. No Torque Twist is great but now it is motor stall

The KK 4.0 is an awesome chassis and flexes great.

Waiting on a few more parts but all in all Bergs are fun. Can't wait until the next series

So here are more updates. I bought a set of Mayhem 7's off a fellow crawler here and painted up a new lid. The only thing I need now are the JPCustoms Lockouts and this build is finished at least until the CVD's come out. So here are the pics. Let me know what you think.
