Default TU-BERG (tuber-berg)

I finally finished building! Then i test ran, tore apart again, redid certain suspension items, painted, and then took a few pictures of it in action. I based it on a Campell buggy and tried to keep it light. It does meet the comp rules but I haven't tried my luck locally yet in competition...maybe when the next season starts!

Here is what it has:

60t matrix motors (I like to crawl. I am that guy that always used a big block in a Jeep instead of gearing. What can I say, I like the torque!)
Sidewinder ecs
11.1 2100 Lipo battery
TQ3 radio and 4 channel recaiver
Berg axles both clocked with axial stubs
HSR5980 servo
Steering linkage is not done...BTA to come!
Also waiting on the rear steer lock-outs to come in.
Front & rear dig hs55 & radio shack switches.
Medium HB Rovers with 12oz weight front & 8oz rear (memory foam and side foam inserts to keep tire structure)
Custom made beadlocks...and more!

Sorry for the lack of build pictures, I melted the pictures of the build by accidentally leaving my camera outside in the Arizona heat. When I remembered, I found the camera bent in a funny angle and the card was dead. GO FIGURE!!!

The frame: 3/8" brake line with brackets and dig plate

the guts:

I went camping and took some action shots.

Fell off...but saved it!

climbs well!

my backyard rocks...

two quicky video's. I am working on taking some more.
[

just messing with the dig. The end was fun...almost took out the camera!

I like it but it looks like your suspension doesn't cycle much. Is that on purpose or is it binding or something?

Good tubework.

No binding...just kept it to about 4" of travel. All of the pictures i posted don't really show the weight transfer and they also are deceiving because you can see right through the tubing. there isn't a good reference until you lay it on the ground and prop a wheel on a soda can...which is about how much travel it has with all wheels still on the ground.

just on top of the rim at the woods canyon lake campround area. They actually told me when I got there that I couldn't run it due to fire danger. Something about dragging on rocks and causing sparks. It gave me a good laugh. Later that day they allowed me to run after the host saw it and was interested in seeing it in action.

Now this is a rig I REALLY like!!! That is probably the ULTIMATE scale looking comp rig (I think?) I have seen!!!

I may have missed it, but what is the wheelbase on this?

IF YOU SELL IT, I CALL IT!!!

Wheelbase is legal 12.5. Thanks for the compliment. Everything is for sale. If u r serious let me know. I am building 3 rigs right now. I took more video that is real good. I will post it soon. I also had to strengthen the back shock bar. I sleeves it with1/4 and repainted. I am so impressed by this things performance.
