I have been running them. Ran them with the guys up a WPAC. They say them get bound up and beat on.

Just make sure you tear them down and rebuild with locktight. Ad some black grease in there too to keep them lubricated.

I broke one the first day. I was beating on them good though. The problem I was having was the set screws were coming loose and letting the pin back out. Pin started hitting the knuckle and that was it.

I have been driving as normal with mine. Been bound up, drops, downhill rollovers, etc. Goin' good. No issues on 5 or so packs.

I did rebuild them before I put them on the truck. Just some locktite, grease and a good inspection.

Did you just install them from RC4WD, or did you add locktite before installation in the truck?

I think I remember your post. Did good in the comp, then beat on them after? Maybe you??

If you put a piece of heat shrink around the joint it will hold the pin in if the set screw loosens up. This was a common problem on my elec. and nitro stadium trucks back in the day. I now heat shrink all CVDs I own.

Yeah, that was me.

I took them apart before they were ever installed and put 2 set screws in each with blue locktite.

They held for the comp but broke them afterward.

I didnt think they would need it with 2 set screws.

I know HBJ has broken a few of them....but he is kinda rough on stuff.
