| Havoc w/ bergs ??
Got my Berg together and am still in the Testing stages, the Havoc chassis is very stable and predictable but it wants to carry the inside front wheel if I am sidehilling and turn up the hill, Doesn't get to the point where it will roll over but causes some pushing. what should I try to correct this ? Here is a pic, my belly clearance is right around 3" and my upper links are spaced away from the axle mout and chassis to get them close to parallel, not completely parallel but close. |

watch it without a body, is the lift occuring as a result of the torsion springing? or is the outside rear shock compressing? most of my articulation comes from the rear end, so some stiffer springs than normal may help. |

I will check that, it was doing the same thing when I had shocks all around and an axial chassis, I kept the same rear shocks and springs on it so maybe they are the culprit.

Sounds like the springs might be too soft. Try a stiffer spring or try to get the shock a little more straight. The more its laid down, the softer its going to feel.

Just ran it without the body and it is definately the rear shock allowing it to come up, the torsion doesn't move. Is there any way to eliminate that with link geometry? I like how soft the suspension is otherwise. I don't want to loose the nice flexy rear shock springs unless I have to, the location of our comps are more suited to rigs with lots of articulation

You might be able to put a shock clip in there.....it could be too long of a shock for that setup.

| If I limit the shock 1/4" internally I would be able to move them to the rear holes in the chassis

Can you tell how much the shock is falling from full stroke as compared to when its settled?

Kinda hard to tell without being there..........next time your out running, try lowering the top front links where they are mounted to the chassis.

ok I will try that , my rear upper links are pretty short, would longer rear uppers help also ? I ran out of delrin and couldn't make my uppers as long as I wanted to in the rear. Oh and by the way, The Havoc chassis works awesome, Once I get my shocks and links dialed in I know it will work even better |

They are short now that you mention it.....I have not ever ran short rear links so I could not say for sure. It does seem like longer rears would help though. | |

went to the longest uppers that would fit and added some shock spacers in the rear, It's definately getting better in every aspect but I am going to try internal limiters to shorten the shocks then mount them more vertical. It's amazing how stable this thing is, even with 3" of belly clearance |
