Default Chad30w's MOA Slingshot build

Well after running my Bender Setup this year I wanted to try something new, and with the help of CD13 and DNA's online line store this care package showed up.......

So out with the old in with the new.......I got it as a roller but not happy yet with the shock setup i'm currently using
More work will happen tommorow i modified the clear cross brace to hold my punk dig in it and will use the switch plate to hold my esc and bec.......more pics will follow the painter is gonna fix me up a killer DNA paint scheme

how are your shocks setup bud? I may be able to help you out with them. I have been running revo'e for a while and have a few tricks up my sleeve I would share with you. Looking good by the way. Oh and I want in on this paint action. I need a newDNA themed lid for my Berg.

what color stripe is on the springs? Have you modified the pistons at all? The stock pistons will screw you. You need to drill the holes out in them to work right. You need to remember they come off a truck that is setup with cantalevers and has alot of force on them. Open the holes up to 1/8" and use yellow striped jatos up front and tans or greens out back.

Option 1 with the punk rc on the skid. Get rid of the factory standoff and use delrin rod. I always believe the lower the better for everything on the truck.

yeah bud the flex looks good and those shocks work super smooth but without driolling the pistons they move like a snail. I like axle on rear axle and everything else on the skid. replace both upper braces with 4 pieces of delrin rod and call it good. PM Bowtie and order up one of his Fat BAt trays for the rear axle. You can't beat it. Especially for $15 shipped.

Does it matter if you have clocked axle on the rear though????cause it looks like it will be pretty tight with the axle clocked to put battery there???

My axle is clocked and I got KK battery tray on there and a 3s 1100 and there's room for it.

Oh, rig looks good so far.
