| 4s Lipo in my Berg
All I can say is WOW. I am running the D biscuit 45t handwounds and this thing screams. Mamba Max ESC and 4s is the way. If anyone was on the fence, leap off now.

My normal setup is a 2200mah 4S and 35t handwounds...its too much fun to go back to a weaker setup now. Although Ive been using 55ts temporarily since I cooked one of the handwounds. Ive seen times where I could use even more wheelspeed to get up really slick and steep faces. But thats just ridiculous for normal comp running |

So how are the berg parts holding up? I ran a 4 cell in my super but the clod gears didn't like it.I did finely get some a steel racing gears to work |

CD13 The only thing I have broken is dogbone pins. That isnt a problem when my steering is turned down though. I just like the 40-45* steering angle. I took an outer housing bearing the other night too. That is just from long-term use though...I've had this thing since early November. The gears look great still. I see no way of breaking gears unless a bearing goes out in the case itself and they bind themselves up |

I have been running mine on 4s since the beginning. (a little over a year now) never had a problem with it. 4s, Sidewinder and 55t, more wheel speed then I could ever need, and the slow speed control of 55t.

I like the idea. How are your rigs holding up? Anybody else have coments on 3s or 4s?

I run a 4s in mine pretty often and in my AX-10 both with sidewinders and never had a problem.

I am still running 4s in my Berg. It eats the small 3rd gears if you shock load them, but I refuse to go back to 3s. On a side note, I have been running a Tekin FXR on 4s with no issues since worlds.

I'm temped to try a 4S once I get my TorqueMaster ESC installed.. Does it feel a lot like the jump from 2S to 3S? 2S feels completely gutless to me after driving with 3S for so long...

I just like the snappiness of it...makes the 3s feel sluggish You can litterally hop over obstacles that were impossible before |

How\where are you guys mounting these 2200mah batteries? All the 1500mah+ lipos I have seen are super long. For a crawler that is. Im running a Kamakazie Chassis for what its worth. |
