| CKRC High Clearance Knuckles & Mayhem 7's Issue
So I purchased a set of Mayhem 7's Berg Offsets and installed them and noticed that it was hitting the back side of the wheel screws which was causing the wheels to bind. Is there an easy way to fix this so that I am still able to use the CKRC knuckles or is there another set of knuckles that would work better with this particular wheel. Thanks in advance. |

I didn't want to have to countersink 16 holes on my Mayhems. I figured out what to do. I dremeled out the CKRC high Steer Knuckles to give them more of an arch effect and now I do not have any binding issues. I just didn't want to switch back to Berg Stock Knuckles.

I run the CKRC knockles too as that what was in my kit, and ordered a set of Mayhems for it in Axial AX-10 offset to get my clearance right. I got a set of proline wheels with my kit, that were approx. .800 from the inside beadlock ti the bottom of the hex hole, and the end of the knuckle steering arm rubbed the sidewall if the tire. Mayhems Berg offset is .650 at the same measurement, according to Dan at Mayhem, and would probably clear, but I figured I'd go with the AX-10 offset at like .300 something as we all know the crazy binds and angles that the tires and suspension get pushed to, so I'd always clear. A bit off topic, but does your CKRC steering toe out a bit? I tried to correct mine, but the tie rod would need to be a little longer. |

| I am running the KK Tie Rod and do not have any toe out issues. What you could probably do to fix that is to add a spacer at either end of the CKRC OTA Kit which should get you to a neutral stance. That is what I did when I was playing with the OTA kit.
