hey 666
how is that on the servo...
looks like it would put unwanted strain on the servo...

it is out of the way...

Didn't want to use the stock mount because the of the clamps hanging below the axle tube.

I was thinking of using one stock clamp all the way over by the gear box and the threaded hole by the shock mount with a carbon fiber plate to mount the servo on...

still not sure yet....
thanx
keep the pictures comming........

I've been happy with my ckrc tie rod so far. It's not pretty after I took the dremel to it but it works.

I like Yotachumps setup the best myself but I haven't driven it yet. Switching from my current toe-out to his toe-in setup will probably be a little weird to get used too when I get one though.

Here is my steering set-up that gathered some attention at our last GTG. It os a modified CKRC setup with an adjustable extension to set toe, and a delrin guide plate to guide the tierod movement 100% of the throw. Works extremely well.

i have seen those work, and they work pretty well..
the ones i have seen were a little floppy because they didnt have delrin plate like you do.. good idea

why the axial bent rod ends..???
i never had good luck with any axial rod end, the plastic is so soft i have stretched them out, then the ball is loose.....

Well to be honest, that is what CKRC called for in the build, and I have yet to find a metal replacement with a similar bend in it. It was close fitting the way I have it, and dimensions would need to be similar. Any ideas are welcome...I'm still very much a noob.

Sounds like you should design one that is so much better than everything else, since you think all the other designs out there suck.
