I prefer the Delrin, When I get in a bind I don't tweak my chassis. At least to a point where it wont bounce back from. Maybe slightly thicker Delrin.

I like aluminum a lot better. They can take a fall and not brake.

What are you doing to get in such a bind that you bend your chassis? I have been in some bad binds but never bent a chassis. My rod ends or axle shafts brake way before something happens to the chassis.

How big of a fall does it take to break a Delrin chassis ?

Bigger than the one it takes to bend an aluminum chassis. But I still want to try aluminum again.

i will take an aluminum chassis any day...

just the right fall and hit could snap a shock ear off ( there is a chance)
where the aluminum will just bend. and you might even bend it back..
where delrin... NOT

JMO
if your chassis is flexing, your supension not working....

i say make some out of alum. and give us a choice

ive personally seen 4 or 5 delrin chassis break. and ive never seen an aluminum chassis break, bend yes, but never break.

and i agree if your chassis is flexing, the suspension isnt working. the chassis should not flex.

The delrin LT2 chassis is great the way it is. I have seen quite a few broken aluminum chassis's from several different manufacturers. Delrin is much more forgiving and it does slide better on the rocks. A delrin chassis will wear out as they slowly scrape away on the rocks over time. Everybody has there own personal preference though.
