Default Super 300 CVD's

All the parts are in, and the packaging has begun. Shipments should start arriving at vendors next week

Here is what showed up at my door step on Monday!

The tolerances were very tight, so it took about 5 mins to assemble

Warning: Picture was taken for entertainment purposes only!

The accuracy of this measurement is very questionable Trying to hold it level, straight, and taking a picture with a few beers in me was very challenging.

Got them installed, and its obvious I am going to need some high steer/clearance knuckles to take full advantage on these bad boys!

Super 300 Berg CVD's are virtually indestructible berg cvd's, and made from the highest quality materials. Designed to be as strong as possible yet allowing 50.5 degrees of steering angle.

Super 300 Specs:
Heat treated 300m chromoly, 6mm diameter shafts with a 5mm thread on the stubs, and improved locker engagement.
Includes:
2 300m Inner shafts

2 300m Outer shafts

2 3/32 cross pins

4 Bearings

and installation instructions.

Required:

Stock berg knuckles. AX10 knuckles will not fit.

Factory 12mm wheel hexes need to be modified to 6mm ID.

How do you limit them to 45% so I don't crake the pin:?

Use you radio's EPAs' but I wouldn't worry about them at 45 degrees these beasts can take it

If you want to play it safe take your EPA out to max steer, and then bring it back 1-2 clicks.

You didn't have a pair of these in your Axial. These are for Berg axles only. They will not fit in an Axial.

Are you wanting them to make a version for bergs running Axial knuckles?

I am not sure its possible or practical. If its possible I going to say it will be awhile

while we are working on the axial version, Spad is right u didnt have super 300's. the axial version will probably be supplied with a new locker that will hold up to the task of almost bombproof axles. there will be a tester set at worlds in an axial!!

u wont break the cvd pin in these.

It won't work. The Axial knuckles have a different distance and cause the CVD to try to pull against the bearing instead of be in proper alignment throughout the arc of the knuckle.

the high clearance knuckle above is a factory berg knuckle that I built a bolt on high steer arm for. my version allows for parallel steering (on my car up to 50.5 degrees)
