Nice parts collection should be a great set up. What finally made you decide to go MOA?

Sounds like a good build. Like the others said, those springs will probably be too stiff. whites, grays, and golds(what I run) all work well depending on weight. Glad to see another moonbuggy! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! |

| Everyone seems to be running the high clearance links from T1E. Looking good so far! You want to upgrade your axle bearings for sure in that thing. The stock ones are crappy! here is what you need, and get them from avidrc.com they are $1 a piece compared to the wallet raping you will get at the LHS! knuckles and tubes: 10x15x4- 2 needed 5x11x4- 2 needed Case: 10x15x4- 2 needed 5x10x4- 6 needed PER AXLE Last Of Sale "Shipping Damage"/New 1.9's & 2.2's Last edited by helhedded; 12-15-2009 at 02:38 PM. |

Might have a hard time finding a place for that battery. I can barely fit a 3 cell 1200.

I have never been a fan of doing that to the rear axle for lock outs but I see now why some people do it. That is a clean looking rear axle. +2 on going for the Avid bearings they are quality, American built bearings. I think the only way you can pull off that battery is if you put it on the links but I love having it in the chassis instead. I run a Vanquish chassis and it's hard to fit it all in the chassis. Even run a torque master that needs no BEC to get more space.

Those 98mm Carboms might work for some front lowers! Most folks don't run bents on the front with their berg anyway to protect the unclocked motor..
