I don't know how it compares to the original Berg from a first hand perspective. I never had the original Berg.

I can say the more I tweak, work, and drive this thing. The more I like it. Hopefully I can get it on some rocks this weekend.

At this point I think the only thing left that will take a lot of work to fix is my "driving" I have taken it through the living room a couple of times and have not broke anything on it yet. That alone has beat my previous record of almost making it through the living room with my AX10.

Looking forward to hearing how it works for you on the rocks! I have had my v2 axles for a little over a month now and I realy like them. If you havnt done it already you should locktight the screws that hold the axle tube inside the case because after my first serious run on the rocks all of my tubes were loose and one screw backed off enough to rub the gear. and check the cvd grubs after every run. Mine have bean holding once I cleaned them with brake cleaner and lock tighted them in. The stearing looks good as well as the truck

I hope to bring it this weekend. I am still trying to make some skids for the front and rear axles. They seem to be in short supply for purchase:-(.

goodoldlevi
Thanks for the heads up on the locktight. I was going to do it and forgot.

you don't need no covers

just use paint caps and zip tie around your motor

It climbed like a mountain goat I still need to do some tweeking to the suspension, maybe tighten up the springs on the shocks a little.
I was very very happy with it.

Have you had any more time on the rocks with it? Curious to see what the ongoing experience is. Have any more changes/upgrades planned?
