Default Moon Buggy

Hell must have froze over

I would like to start By giving a to Mike "ROCKSHOW" for letting me try out a Moon Buggy.
I must say I have been running the same chassis for a long time with only a material change so getting use to a new chassis is going to be tough but I wanted something new and T1E looked like the best option out there.

First impressions were what in the world is in this box on the door step.
Chassis usually come in a small box I thought. So I opened it up and the chassis was packaged already assembled
I had planed on not giving it a try until after ECC but it It was crying to get let out of its box

I rushed through and swung my axles under it last night and my electronics. The wiring is a mess but I did not want to change any of it until I was sure I was going to stick with this chassis for ECC.
I am pretty sure I am going to run it at ECC now so I can loose the rats nest.

The truck still needs some tuning but all in all I am very happy with how it works. The initial setup tossed a curve ball at me that had me about to pull my hair out. With my setup this thing DOES NOT LIKE PARALLEL UPPERS. It must have something to do with the spacing of the lowers I guess.I think after a little time I can dial this thing in dead on.

Well enough of the B.S.
I would like to think the guys that Really help make this happen for me.

I know the panels suck but the only thing I could find was a old 1.9 losi body and a VP wheel package. If anyone is wondering whats up with the arrow on top I wanted to make sure what end was the front

I took me several months and some advice from a friend to figure that out. But now that you've got that licked... you should be able to drop some weight out of the front

Looking good Joe....

Looks good Joe. Glad to see you trying out the T1E product. If I can help with anything just let me know ( I am sure rockshow and some of the other guys have you covered but sometimes other opinions/ideas help).

Good Luck with it. See you at ECC!

can you shoot some video of this chassis when you have a chance. I would like to see it in action with you at the controls.

Wow so unexpected...

Bodyless for Joe too? It's hard to imagine you not running the old Kamikaze though!

And Sedona's?

Gonna have to look at the Moonbuggies up close at ECC.

Is it time for me to retire my Zero as well? Been running it for over a year and a half now.

I felt I just needed to try something different.
And I must say I am starting to love the Sedonas.

I run mine for over 2 years I think. It feels funny running the new truck but after several hours of run time on it today I am really starting to like it.But only time and a few comps will tell.

There not short they just have a big bend in the center of the link instead of towards the rear. There the same links I had on my 3.5 at green river.I am pretty sure they are about 5 inches eye to eye.
