I run just the opposite on my BJV3, Losi golds up front and switched to Losi grey's in the rear about 3 months ago.

I went back and looked thru your pic's again.

Alot of guys will also mount the shocks more "inboard" on the chassis. You can see it in several other build threads. You can experiment with it though.

Why do you have the battery on the rear axle when running the newly-designed skidplate?

What do you mean by the shocks being more inboard; laid down more, or closer to the chassis? I was wondering the same thing about the battery as well.

Yes, laid down more...inboard, closer to the center of the chassis.

Thanks, thats what I figured you meant. I have mine inboard as far as they will go, but I have a 6mm spacer on the rear.

*redid the front shock upper mounts...moved back to 4 hole from front.

moved my batt up onto the tray skid, removed the rear plate.*

?
i see some guys with there shocks up side down??

does it really make that much difference or do the shocks react differently??

and just how long do my motor wires need to be??

i think the dude who solder it put about 2in to much on both ends?!

and sometimes my rear motor wont kick in until im @ 50% throttle??
the green light is on the pk dig, batt's got plenty of juice, epa's over 70.??
or is that the famous clod stall..

thanks gents youve been very helpful.

punk dig kicks as!

the vp slw's /Hb sedonas(+2oz frnt) (0 rear)
gripped very well.
stock foams in the rear,vp foam mix up front.

About the rear motor not kicking on until half throttle...

That is stall but it sounds like you have something increasing the effects. Check for this stuff...

Gear mesh too tight in rear.
Wheel in back on too tight causing binding.
Bad motor.
Not sure which rear lockouts you use but make sure one isn't rubbing the stub axle inside.

A buddy of mine got some blitz motors on my reccommendation. One was doing exactly what yours was. He knew it was the motor because he switched them rear to front and it did the same thing up there. Fantom took care of him though.

With no binding on level ground, your motors should start up at the same time with throttle input.

ok they do start up on flat ground equally.

its only on a vertical climb that it becomes a problem..
about the 3 try it just gets worse and worse until i blip it really good..

i will check the lockouts "ckrc"..

thanks man!
