Hahaha. I'm waiting on Steve right now to do the exact same thing.

Bearing failure which took a toll on the gears, so I replaced the bearings and gears(since TCS had them on sale). And all is well now.

All the gears are perfect its just the collar where the shaft engages busted open (not possible with a solid spool)

youll like the XR until it ruins your day by breaking a random part that you thought was taken care of..... lol

Do tell where yall are going MTBing before the next comp Im definetly down to hit the trails.
Hate that ruined your day Ross. And the MTBing is before local comps and practice

Josh I support your decision I like any chance of you busting a gear when were comping together J/K

I see the axials doing work and taking winning spots all the time and there is Nothing wrong with trying somthing new. HELL, Im sure you could win with an old wheelie king if you needed to

I have owned 2 XR's BUT in the end I just love my berg.

The berg is still my go to rig. Just can't get the motivation up to put the xr together. And taking 1st at Turkey Crawl just made it harder to switch. Especially since 1st-3rd was T1E SS bergs
