Thanks for the compliments and harassment guys. Obligatory shot of the "Pile" That was the old 86Jeep steering on the used axles I got. That was the first thing to go away. Moved the servo behind the axle. I'm still waiting on my motors from John Rob so I had to use an old 19t I had laying around to do the modified mount. Soon after, I discovered the Racer's Edge servo arm is a bit too short for the correct throw with the zero ackerman knuckles, so it was off to TCS for the Robitronic arm. Should be here quick, they ship fast. |

By the way, I wanted to give a huge thanks to a bunch of people who help, traded, loaned or otherwise put up with all my questions on this endeavor. Josh (Harley0706) Motivation and general nuisance. Jerry (ZORLAC) I was scared to hack my axles, he dove right in. Eddie (NovasArk) Pointed me to the RockShow and answered a million questions. Eddie is a true gent and a good friend. Mike (RockShow) Hooked me up and continues to help out. What a guy! John (SDS Customz) A ton of great info, the tip on the Zero Ackerman. Another great guy. More to add soon, I've had a ton of help and advice putting this stuff together. Thanks all! |
