No special bits. The stock gears drilled very easy with a drill press.

Do you do them for anybody? I also want your lockers when they're for sale again.

Yes, I can do them for other people as well. I just need more then 2 sets to make it worth the time and cost effective for everyone. If I could get a group of at least 3 people we could work something out.

I've already drilled my rear gears! My question is it wise to drill the front also?? I mean you drill out the gears to lighten the rig then turn around and add weight?? Wouldn't it be better just to leave the weight there? It is low I know it is rotating but... Sorry not trying to hijack this thread just a curios question for folks with more experience than I. Wow 20 for both axles?? I assume we are sending the gears to you?? or do you sell the gears we could buy and have lightened ?? |

Isn't the purpose not for actual weight reduction, but to lower the rotating mass for quicker throttle response? That's why I did mine...? |

That's another reason why I'm asking. I do know that is a positive on a gas engine especially a turbo so you can get the rpm's up faster to get the boost pressure up but the power curves of a electric motor are waaayy different. It is yet another question for the powers that be! |
