I am leaning towards the RT too however I want to get away from the scx10 shocks. They just don't work for me. I am trying to get more info on the velvet kyosho shocks. If I can do the rodend mod and still keep them close to 3.5" I think they will be my answer.

The 88mm Kyosho's with the the brass shock cap that allows for the rod end mod get you to ~3.5 inches depending on the rod end you use. I just picked up a set from SuperShafty Velvet Coated Shocks

I run them on my rig since ECC and Rick@ SUPER SHAFTY hooked me up with the right shock body and shaft with rod end mod to get me at 3.5" ....all I can see is these are so smooth and consistent, I don't think there is a shock that compares in my opinion

I think the traxxas big bores are the smoothest shocks I have ever ran, and now dlux is offering to mill them down to cut weight and even smoother gliding of the springs against the shock body. I have never heard much good out of the scx shocks! Just my opinion though, and you know what they say about those!

Yes sir, I have been wanting one for some time. Y-Town has been great to me, but it's time for a big change for me. I will continue to run Y-Town wheels, but it's chassis swap time! Super hard decision, but I'm sure I will be happy. I think 09 was my last bodied rig Build thread will be coming very soon
