The cab looks great!!! I also think that's the first time I've seen 86jeep steering on v2 axles. Did you have to relieve the tube just like you would on v1 bergs to clearance the sevo inbetween the the motor and axle?

Thanks you chev,
The cab was cut out of a cutting board aswell as the mount for the steering
To get the servo in there i had to move the motor back and up a couple mm though i still an using the 11t pinion. The yes i did cut a knoch in the tube but only just to the inner part i tell you it was not easy with a 3in grinder and a file but hey you use what you got. I was hoping to get a 7980 in there but i couldn't get the extra 2mm needed so i went with a 7950.

I post up some pics tonight when i finish work

I really like the steering servo mount. This is the first V2 I have seen that way. Sweet ride!

the original Tracer is horrible to drive. But the axles are excellent - except the chunky gear cases - therefore I prefer the small V2 gear cases.

great work - spyder

The stock gears hold up great i have been snapping the pins (twice) instead of damaging the gears. The main problem i have had is cvs as standard they use a 2 3x3mm grub screws to clamp on to the front axle so i replaced these with 3x5mm grub screws a they seem to be holding up better.
I would like to one day get a v1 4th gear and a locker and some 300's then i think i would also need c-hubs and knuckle. To do this mod it would cost a lot and the bank (wife) i don't think would come to the party

nice that axle looks like a great idea
Is a easy website to buy off, I didn't see much English
much cheaper the mods to have 300's

Also, use knurled set screws on those front cad's, it helps. I ran that same setups for almost 2 years and loved it.

I haven't been to happy with the width being only 10 1/2 in's and by chance I won 2 pair of 335 hubs. Now the front end seats at a health 11 1/2 in's I have left the rear with just the 600 hubs and it 10 in's
And as a added bonus i now have no wheels hitting the links and shocks
