Default Lead Lobber's T1E SS Berg

Here is my "new to me" Berg. I got it in a trade from Flyin Hawaiian (Chris).

I haven't done much to it, as most of my gear is on the slow boat to China... Er, Korea. I did make the panels, and ditched the Punk dig for dual FXR's.

some details;
Proline shocks (don't know what weigh oil)
300m axles front and rear
300m 3rd gears front and rear
DH1's in front
SLW V1's in the rear
And shaved Boss Claws.
Radio will be a hacked GT3C from Losikid
That about sums it up.

I don't really care for the black delrin, as I have a hardcore Ti/ Carbon Fiber fetish. I contacted Nick to find out how much the carbon plates for the SS were, and I may go that route. But that CC Switch is looking pretty BA in carbon as well, along with their Ti links. I'm also diggin Erik's wheels. Time and money guys, not enough of either...

Alright! Let's resurect another thread from the dead!

When I got here to Korea, I decided to build a set of XR axles and give them a shot. Well, long story short, I can't keep them together and keep them reliable. So here I go swapping the Berg axles back into my rig. It's had a bit of an up date since the postings above.
I just weighed it today at the post office. Tipping the scales at 5 lbs, 2 oz. Bit on the portly side, but nothing that can't be handled to get it down into the 4.5 to 4.0 range (which some may even consider FAT).

Here it is on my desk at work. Wiring is still a rat's nest. I'll get that sorted tonight. I have some B44 wheels with the Mr. V's mod done, but need the taller, narrower tire for this weekend. I've got some nasty undercuts to negotiate this weekend. My other tires kept stuffing under the undercut, not grabbing and lifting over it.

More to come after this weekend's comp up in Incheon! Deuces.

Jeff
