Re: Asso V3 Wow! I'm not sure what to say. When I see someone take renderings and make them reality, its just exciting to watch!!! I can't wait to see more pics!! |
Re: Asso V3 dude that chassis i trick as hell, im assuming you kinda toke some ideas from the nano tracer? Good Job! |
Re: Asso V3 thanks |
Re: Asso V3 |
What's your plan with the axles? They are v3 axles? Can you post up how you're going to modify them? Thanks, fellow V3 guy. |
Re: Asso V3 |
Re: Asso V3 Those look great! What axle shafts are you using? Does a V1 locker fit in the housing? |
Re: Asso V3 They look awesome, I have a set of berg V2 and have been looking at doing the same thing but i have no tools to do it. It has to be saving a heap of weight. Keep the pics coming please..... |
Re: Asso V3 I have got a wraith mod going on too... Driveshafts, knucles and c-hubs are coming to me... I did mod the Axial Ax-10 locker to fittin to the axle and welded it to the main gear... "thumbsup" Hopefully iŽll get all parts soon... |
Re: Asso V3 Here are some photos Change to cvd with hose 6/4 mm steel I internally threaded tube M5 and cvd axial always M5, then a plug will be to ensure that not unscrew https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9...129_200451.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-g...129_200242.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3...129_200314.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-M...129_200401.jpg |
Re: Asso V3 so how is it going? how much does the chassis alone weigh? |
Re: Asso V3 |
Re: Asso V3 Wow, that looks great! Can you shoot over more information?? Specific Dimensions ETC? Thanks! "thumbsup" |
Re: Asso V3 :) This below is the change Rebuilt drive shafts with steel tubes for two reasons Weight and because information Employment easier, especially from fillettare The axial cvd forced me on this choice to find a way to unite them Cvd M5, M5 pipe tapped always everything together and secured with loctite final https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-2...201_215028.jpg Here we see the assembled short, the ingranagi I put them on the other hand because of the thorns of the crown axis https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/--...9821627517.jpg Here the case is closed, the drive shaft protruding screw is screwed where the spool https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-W...9819183003.jpg Spool screwed and secured with two grains, those berg tip 2mm sinking into the axle https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-J...9819258690.jpg Mounted along the axle shaft that engages the spool and always stuck with the two grains https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6...9820465967.jpg To make the long tube inner diameter of 12 mm may be to place all the components I have lowered The spool is 10mm while the cvd originally were 12.2mm I took them to 11.9 mm The tube instead is fixed to the case from the outside https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-e...202_173401.jpg |
Re: Asso V3 very nice but it won't work with V2 axles as i have taken a notch out to fit the servo between the motor and the axle. keep up the great work. |
Re: Asso V3 the servo does not fit between the axle and motor  https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i...126_020613.jpg |
