Working on something fun/new for NENC. Waiting on a few more parts to show up and then I will start posting up build pictures.

This plus the name should be a good hint.

Still waiting on some parts but here is what I have been working on so far to get the front axle online.

For those of you who guessed Dlux front axle....

It started with a package from Utah looking like this

A box packed full of great parts from Erik ad Dlux. Superlite Axles, 8mm Stub FBA shafts, Missing Link Locker, Aluminum Knuckles, Carbon Fiber Loaded Dice, etc. As pretty as they were they had to go out for the full bling treatment.

Bought a new anodizing dye color, copper. I was Hoping for an awesome realistic copper color, though this being the first time trying this color, the parts took the dye insanely fast. Wound up being more orange but still looks great.

Working with my anodizing partner we decided we needed to try something new. ANODIZED TITANIUM

For this project I went with a blue'ish purple. The Dlux links came out amazing, pictures don't do them justice.

Also went ahead and Anodized my Titanium Screws from RC4WD, they came out pretty good but not sure what grade these screws are the forming process may have had an impact as well. The thread color is great but the head color came out a bit dull. Still more fun than plain ole' titanium color.

Look for a new service from Lattice Innovations to start doing more of this in the near future, Lots of color options.

Dry fit of the parts after anodizing, Looking good so far.

Next night continued on with assembly. Fit and finish on these axles is great, had a couple small tweaks to make with the dremel tool and it is smooth as silk. WARNING, Make sure to figure out which way the locker is designed to install onto the Final gear or things will "Almost fit".

Next up is getting a wheel on the axle with the loaded dice. Dlux has an option available in his store but I wanted to see if fun with the 3D printer could yield something awesome. Going to grab them off the machine later and will let you guys know how it went.

Looks Awesome Brian!!!! You may want to flip the tie rod end for end, you can get it tighter to the case, but if it works for you like that then that's cool too. Can't wait to see the other goodies you have coming in!

Flipped end for end but the other trick is to put the non motor side on TOP of the arm and the motor side goes BELOW the arm. It give more clearance.

As said on FB... Very nice! I am loving it and youre raising the bling bar for sure!
