I almost hate to do this but Floridarocks score is actually 101 putting him in 7th place and bumping me to LAST. At least I had a good time hanging out with you guys, even though my driving skills took the day off

Had a blast.... The course we pretty scary especially standing on top of those rocks and looking down the holes and seeing nothing but spider webs and deep black holes, also want to thank all the spotters for catching my car and everyone else on course 3.

Was great seeing everyone again wish I could have stayed longer but had to roll out, 4 hour drive lolol.

Congrats to Matt and Dirthairball on completing course 3 that 3rd gate was a killer as the day went on.

Oh and also want to thank Kinson and Donnie on there support and modivation during the runs lolol.

Can't wait for the next one.

Dude that BTA was killing you the whole day :-(.

And the best part was on course 2 right before you timed out when you had the rollover when you replaced and your rig just went straight up That was crazy....

But remember you ran the rest of the course perfect.

yea, it just wasn't my day. Making some major changes to the rig, BTA steering is GONE, gonna sell the tube chassis and use the proceeds to fund another more comp worthy chassis (SWX, black widow, maybe that new mayhem chassis) havn't decided on which one yet, but it will be a totally different rig the next time you see it, and BTW those proline chisels are complete garbage, thinking about going with either the rovers, the new comp claws, or panthers.

Am running an SWX and love it.

Was definately good seeing a nice turn out..

So, I've decided that the stick radio isn't going to work...
I don't have the money for a DX3R, or a 4PK, but see DX 3's on Ebay for fairly cheap, and even 3.0..

I know with the 3.0 I'll lose the ability to freewheel, but how often is it really needed? MOA's don't free wheel at all right?

With the DX3, it's a 3 position switch, but am told it's momentary? i.e. have to hold it in position. Which would be good for both free wheel and even locked dig positions, as long as I don't have to hold it in position for normal driving.

thoughts?

You can still use your stick, have seen plenty of people using sticks you just have to mod it to your liking. Me personally love my DX3R.

You don't use freewheel as much as you think but it's not a bad thing to have in your arsenal, like I say better to have then not to.

And all you need is the remote cause you can still use the receiver's, and pretty sure you can find a DX3R in your budget, if not there is always a DX 3.0 does not have to be an R. I think at the comp there was a guy selling one for 40 bucks or 80 bucks I think.

Hey didnt you have a camera?

I took a few pics, not many.. had to travel the past couple of days and haven't downloaded them yet to the computer. I think I have a few of Scattman's run, and maybe a couple of Levi's.

The 3PDF has a 3 model memory, up to 4 positions on the 3rd ch, EPAs on all channels, 75mhz f.m., and cheaper than what you posted a link too, plus it is not a crappy TQ3.

Who do you think gave Sub the heads up about the 3PDF?

So, if I can get a DX3, a 3PK, or a 3PDF, for all relatively close to the same amount of money, within give or take $20 .. which should I choose?

The DX3(not 3.0) since it is 2.4. Next would be a 3PK, then the 3PDF. That's probably the order from most $ to least $ as well.

Oh yeah, I have all 3 of them.

DX3 will need modding(simple). 3PK has ridiculous amount of adjustments and can assign the 3rd ch. to where you want. 3PDF is just cheap and works well.
