Default F250 'Snatch Wagon' (bogger build-off) Scale 4x4

Well, johnny lightning posted up an idea for a mud bogger build off, I figured since I was building a new truck, it fit, so I would enter, I'm posting here, because I thought since we like mud, and trucks, why not?

So here is my truck and vote for it if you wish over on scale4x4

Specs:
RC4WD dual spring shocks
RC4WD txt top link braces

TXT axles
Custom aluminum frame
wheely king transfercase
Emaxx trans 2-speed (in transit)
F250 exteneded cab body
narrowed clod tires
wk style steering
sidewinder
vxl or monster maxx motor, or dual 35t's
3 s lipo

Alittle more down on her.

OK, here are some pics, and took her out for a little test run (no mud yet)....:sht:
Used an axial trans instead (metal gears and hd outputs) and vxl, ran really well.



'bout ready for paint!!


Probably gonna change the electronics mount, didn't come out as I had planned, too tall for one..

Is that plastidip on the motor? I'm wondering if that will help mine not lose reverse..

Those motors are not waterproof, took mine apart because it wasn't spinning real smooth, had water and alittle dirt in it, cleaned it out, put dielectric grease on both ends and sealed it with the liquid elec tape, also put dielectric grease in the unused motor mount holes and arounf the front bearing, seams to have worked so far.

Nah, I rebuilt the 6 door basically into this truck, all the same running gear, just alittle shorter and ALOT lighter.

Bobbed clod body is gone, but chassis and stuff I still have.

Man you know how much I hate fords but that is one nice looking rig will it be competing in the next TTC I hope we don't see another one of Clint's Fords win again

Hows the torque twise with those shocks (if any)?

I had a bunch of "PowerStoke" emblems printed up that came in yesterday.....as well as some 09 F-250 fender emblems. If you want ill bring some out for you.

The shocks are actually working good, for now, Bring some of those emblems, I could use a couple.

just got my mashers n narrowed them today.dont want to glue to rpm wide wheels im lookin for some narrowed axial's.are your wheels glued?
