Default Haulover Inlet

Rich, Wade, and I went to check out Haulover inlet today. The place is awesome to crawl, there are many big rocks and plenty of lines that tie together, and some that just don't... Rich

Sorry for the cell pics, with it being 4th of July I wanted to limit the gear I took with me. The park was packed and we had to park far away. The only downside is the $5 per car entry charge and $6 on weekends and holidays.

I had a great time yesterday and I'm glad we went. I was worth rich rebuilding your front plate in one night! Totally a compworthy spot, in miami no less. I can't wait to go back, can't let rich make courses on his own.
The granite was fun to crawl, great traction and the rocks were huge like miramar.

The bbq was good last night too.

I was standing about 10 feet forward, the place is HUGE! It goes about 1/4 mile or so.

This was originally RichardGarrett's find on google, one sunday evening he twisted my arm to go check it out. We get there, say omg!, crawl for 2 minutes before we get told by a ranger; closing time. Didn't even get to take pics the first time. Convinced DickyT to come back with us this last sunday. Now its on!

It was a mixed bag, some was little bits form various sections, others were continuous lines. Some of it was rehashing what we drove in Saturdays comps, some of it was stuff we had never driven before. Well more the stuff you only saw my rig on, Bill and Tyler were both broken by that point.

There are some big holes, but for the most part they are avoidable, and we have the bridges to use as hole fillers if need be.

We will certainly be going back to bash, for wsuc comps and it would be nice to get an SSRCC comp at the location, if Skyway is worthy, Haulover certainly is

the granite has a ton of grip, the marble chunks are a bit slippery, it is mostly granite though.

Looks and sounds good how many gates and course did you have at the comp? just gotta make sure you guys don't crawl every singel bit or inch of the area that way we can schedual a comp there and it's not an area were everyone crawls all the time. Thats the problem with area's down here if you go so much and crawl or comp every weekend then there realy is not any new stuff to crawl cause everything has been crawled on them we have to find a new spot.

We setup 4 courses, 8 gates per course and have barely scratched the drivable areas. The bridges allow us to think out of the box a bit too and tie lines together that would not normally exist.

There is a 1/4 mile stretch of rocks and we have only played in two small areas of it.

We will not crawl there all the time, it will get expensive at $5 weekdays and $6 weekend. That is per carload, but still.... $1.50\head at Miramar is more pocket friendly unless you have 5 or more in the car.
