In the Orlando area, your best bet is probably Superior Hobbies in Casselberry. Really I get most of my parts online through rpp/tcs/other vendors on here.

I've pretty much stopped going anywhere else. superior is full of onroad/race snobs, lots of stuff, nothing special. I just can't stand the attitude. central is good for flyers, small shop. hobbytown, well, not much there. graves hobbies, has tons of stuff for everything except crawlers (great place for helicopters) | |
