Default Anything going on in Ocala this weekend?

Me and a friend are going up to Hard Rock on Sunday (our friends are racing their buggies there). I could probably talk him into swinging into the hobby shop or a spot if anyone is going to be out playing.

I've never been to hardrock so I don't know what to expect.

My friends and I have 1:1 off-road buggies, and some of my friends have 1:1 race buggies. The race buggies are trying to find a place in Florida to race because right now they are towing to Illinois. I'm not falling into the trap of a race buggy (could build some really nice scalers for that kind of money) but I want to go hang out, watch, and bum a ride

I would go to A pit before I go there again or even worse if that was the only place to ride I would just sell my rig lol

( A pit is just down the road and has the best crawling / wheeling spot in Florida hands down)

Well turns out I didn't even make it to Hardrock today. Both of my friends that were going with me had to back out and I didn't feel like driving 5 hours by myself with a crappy radio HAHA.

FWIW, I spoke to a friend that took his buggy there and he said the owner is very receptive to get the track in shape enough for buggy/side by side racing. But this is all new so who knows how it will play out.

I can see him doing it for side by side's and dirt bikes and 4 wheelers he love's those guys and gals.. but 1.1 crawlers or offroad rigs no way i am not sure what his deal is with them..

What is funny about that is he put hours of time in to building and setting up place's and opening new area's just for them to ride and then turn's around and kicks them out and says don't come back but that is just how he is lol....

well when you go have fun and be safe that track is awesome and the back hairscramble is even more crazy fun....

I have to do a little scouting this weekend. I think I spotted something good on the way to a bbq competition last weekend.
