Went to the Curlew bridge today. It was ok,would be better for the supers.I had a hard time with my TLT.There was a lot of loose rock and sand.Plus I couldn't go more than 10ft without hitting a major obstacle.Really no place for a course for the 2.2's.The Skyway is a much better place in my opinion. At least there were bathrooms and vending machines at Skyway.

It's a toss-up for me. It is a very long drive and I want to go but if its only going to be a couple of guys for a couple of hours I could spend that time working on the track (it is a work day for the local r/c club) and I could actually have some help. The crawling course should be done this month. We needed some time to make it look descent being that it is on the counties property out with all the ball fields. One good thing about it though is that the county takes care of all the lawn and cleanup and empties trash and stuff.

I really want to go guys. Its just such a long *** drive ( 6 hours total )

If we could only get it a little farther north. Soon I will have the place in Ocala setup so we will have more options.

how about we call this one off and come up with another date in a month or so when the weather gets cooler?

even tho my rigs are ready to go the 23rd is still almost to short notice considering i just got all my parts in last week to fix my rigs...

how about the saturday before holloween the 28th of october? that will give all of us ample time to make plans to get off work etc....also the weather will be cooler....

Sounds good to me also.I might have to go out of town tomorrow anyways.Maybe by then Scattman's crawler course will be finished.Whatever day we agree on,we should all try to put up flyers at the local hobby stores to see if we can get others interested.Just a thought.
