Is this place your crawling at near Long Boat Key? I'll be down there for some R+R in a few weeks and was just wondering.

I didn't take any pics. I was too busy running and trying to score some Tamiya kits from those Oriental gals. I think Jeremy got some pics though. That 2nd place we went to was pretty nice. I think it would make a nice place to run. The water running through it really adds to it. The 3rd place was a little tough on my scaler. Gotta get me some diff. tires. Those narrowed Geos kinda hold it back. Still a cool spot though. There is new guy in town up here. He just moved to G-ville from AL and is looking for some guys to run with. I think he was running with the SERCRC guys. We will probably get together some time this week and run some. Had a good time guys. Especially since I had the lowest score. Now we all need to make a road trip to Augusta in June. |

Just wandering where you guys are in Fl. I will be moving down in May to Miami. Just want to find out if there is anyone to crawl with or if I should sell off my r/c collection. I currently have 3 1:6 Nylints 2 1:18 Nylints 2 Hot Wheels buggies 3 GIANT Dodge Magnums 1:5 I am afraid to bring all of this down if I will never use it. For all I know I might be way to busy to even think about crawling at all. Just thinking that there could be some awesome spots for crawling down there. I currently live in the mountains of VA and there are tons of spots to go crawling, just not enough people that want to go out and do it. |

Well you won't have as many spots to crawl here. Not as many rocks. Best places seem to be around the beach and some of the bridges. I am about 4.5 hours north of Miami. I live farther north than anyone else. There are some guys in Orlando, New Port Richey, and Central Florida in general. There is a guy that just moved here to the area from AL that has a 2.2 also. The comp location Sat. was only a couple hours from Miami. |

So do you guys get into anything else r/c. Maybe boating or other water sports? My biggest decision is whether or not to bring down all of my r/c stuff or not. I may have to get a ryder truck if I bring r/c stuff with me and that would be expensive. |
